Share AI Videos on Explore: Profiles, Follows & Comments

Making a video is half the fun. The other half is someone watching it. SceneGen's Explore gallery is where creators share finished AI videos, and it now has a social layer: creator profiles, a verified badge, comments with replies, follows and notifications. Here's how it works and how to get the most out of it.

What Explore is

Explore is a public gallery of videos their owners chose to share. Only finished work is listed: a completed render with a real video file and a picture for its tile. Drafts and failed videos never appear. You don't need an account to browse or watch. You need one to comment, react or follow.

Each video shows real counts of views, likes and dislikes, shares and comments. SceneGen doesn't invent engagement numbers, so a new video starts at zero. It gets a "New" badge instead of fake views.

Creator profiles

Every creator gets a public page (set it up in Settings → Public profile) with:

• a handle (3–30 characters: letters, numbers, dots and underscores) and a display name;
• a short bio (up to 280 characters) and a website link;
• an avatar;
• the videos they've shared, and their follower count.

Your email address is never shown, not even its first part. If you haven't set a name, the profile uses your account or workspace name, or "SceneGen creator". A handle is generated from your name, never your email. Names and bios go through automatic moderation.

The verified badge

A blue check marks creators the SceneGen team has verified. It's granted by the team, and you can't buy it or switch it on yourself. SceneGen's own official account also carries it.

Comments, follows and notifications

• Comments support one level of replies, up to 1,000 characters each, with automatic moderation and rate limits against spam. You can moderate the comments on your own videos.
• Follow a creator from their profile to keep up with what they share.
• Notifications tell you about new comments, replies and followers through the bell in the sidebar (or the top bar on mobile). A burst of activity within an hour collapses into one notification instead of a pile of them.

How to share a video on Explore, step by step

1. Finish a video. Only completed renders can be listed.
2. On the project page, press Share. The video becomes public, it's listed on Explore, and a watch link is copied to your clipboard.
3. Set up your profile under Settings → Public profile: pick a handle and display name, write a one-line bio that says what your channel is about, and add your YouTube or website link. A live preview shows how you'll appear.
4. Give the video a strong poster. A 4K thumbnail from Thumbnail Studio makes the tile stand out.
5. Reply to the first comments. Early conversation is what makes a profile feel alive.
6. Follow creators in your niche and see what formats they're trying.

Why share at all?

• Feedback before YouTube. Other creators spot a weak hook or an unclear thumbnail fast. Pair that with the hook & retention check.
• Inspiration. Seeing what others make with the same tools is the quickest way to learn new formats, from documentaries to explainers.
• A portfolio. A profile with your best work and a website link is an easy thing to send to a client.

Tips for a profile people follow

• Pick one lane. A profile of history explainers gets followed. A random mix of topics gets browsed and forgotten.
• Lead with your best three. New visitors judge a profile by its most recent tiles, so share your strongest work, not every draft.
• Write the bio for viewers. "Five-minute stories from ancient Rome, every Friday" tells people what following gets them. "AI enthusiast" doesn't.
• Keep a rhythm. Followers come back when something new is there. A series on autopilot keeps the uploads coming, and you choose which episodes to share.
• Answer questions in the comments. A reply is also a notification for the commenter, which brings them back to your page.

Good citizenship

Explore follows SceneGen's acceptable use policy. Share work you have the rights to, credit your sources (SceneGen writes the credits for you), and keep comments constructive.

Is my email shown on my SceneGen profile?

No. Profiles show a display name and handle, and your email, or any part of it, is never shown. Generated handles are built from your name, not your email.
