SceneGen Lite: $15/mo for 60 Minutes of AI Video

Summary
The Lite plan is $15 a month for 60 minutes of video on SceneGen's free engines plus 300 premium credits. What's included, how minutes count, who it's for.
Most AI video subscriptions sell credits, and it's hard to tell how much video those credits buy. SceneGen's new Lite plan is simpler: $15 a month gets you 60 minutes of video every month on SceneGen's free engines, plus 300 premium credits for premium engines. Here's what that means in practice.
What's in Lite
- 60 minutes of video a month made with SceneGen's own engines: script, voice, visuals, captions and render.
- 300 premium credits a month for premium engines, such as ElevenLabs voices.
- Videos up to 5 minutes long, so Shorts and mid-length videos alike.
- Up to 1440p export, with no watermark.
- 5 languages.
- 1 autopilot series, so one show can publish on a schedule (how Series Autopilot works).
- Everything that costs no credits on any plan: Thumbnail Studio, packaging packs, the hook & retention check, ReelForge clips, Studio edits and re-renders.
Why minutes instead of credits
SceneGen runs its standard pipeline on its own engines: a local AI for scripts, free voices, credited free media, free AI images and its own renderer. Those don't have a per-call bill, so a credit price for them would be meaningless. Lite gives you what you actually care about, minutes of finished video, and keeps credits for the premium engines that do have a real cost.
How minutes are counted
- Minutes are reserved when a video starts, at its target length. That includes a duplicate, a "start over" of a video that was already delivered, and each autopilot episode.
- When the video is delivered, the count is trued up to its real length. A shorter video gives the difference back. A longer one is counted up to the target plus a small margin (at most 15 seconds or 10%), never more.
- A video that fails without a finished render gives its minutes back, once. That's part of the no-burn guarantee.
- The month is your subscription's billing period, or the calendar month (UTC) when there isn't one.
- When you run out, SceneGen tells you before starting a new video instead of failing halfway. An autopilot series paused for minutes resumes on its own when the new month starts.
What 60 minutes looks like
You could make 80 Shorts of 45 seconds each, twelve 5-minute videos, or any mix. Studio edits and re-renders of a video you already made don't take new minutes, and neither do thumbnails or ReelForge clips.
Lite vs. Free vs. Creator
- Free is a trial: 2 complete videos in total, up to 1 minute each, with a watermark. It's good for seeing the quality, not for running a channel.
- Lite ($15/mo): 60 minutes a month, videos up to 5 minutes, no watermark, 5 languages, 1 autopilot series.
- Creator ($49/mo): videos up to 15 minutes, all 15 languages, 1,500 credits and 3 autopilot series. It's for channels that publish longer videos every week.
Higher tiers add longer videos, bulk mode, team seats and 4K video export. See the full table on the pricing page.
Who Lite is for
- New faceless channels publishing a few Shorts a week, or one or two longer videos. Read how to start a faceless YouTube channel.
- Small businesses that need a steady trickle of product explainers and social clips (AI video for small business marketing).
- Creators testing a niche before committing to a bigger plan (best faceless YouTube niches).
If you regularly need videos longer than 5 minutes, or more than 5 languages, Creator is the better fit.
How to get the most from 60 minutes
- Set Shorts to the length your niche actually needs. A tight 40-second Short beats a padded 60-second one.
- Get the script right before rendering. The hook & retention check runs before you render, and it doesn't use minutes.
- Fix scenes in the Studio instead of starting over. Rerolls and re-renders cost nothing, while a fresh start of a delivered video counts again.
- Stretch every long video with ReelForge: one 5-minute video can become several clips at no extra cost.
- Save the premium credits for the videos where a premium voice matters most.
What Lite doesn't include
To be clear about the limits: Lite has no bulk mode, no team seats (it's a single seat), no 4K video export and no videos over 5 minutes. It's capped at 20 projects, and unused minutes don't roll over to the next month. Premium credits pay for premium engines only. The standard pipeline doesn't need them, so most Lite videos never touch them. If a limit gets in your way, you can move up to Creator at any time from the pricing page.
