Privacy Policy

The data controller is the founder of SceneGen (sole proprietorship), Türkiye. Contact: [email protected]. We process personal data under the EU/UK GDPR where it applies and under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

• Account data: email address, name, password hash, or your Google profile if you sign in with Google.
• Content: topics, scripts, uploaded media, generated scripts, narration and videos, and your settings.
• Usage data: actions taken, credits used, errors, and technical logs (IP address, browser, device).
• Anti-abuse signals: device, IP and email signals used to enforce one free trial per person and to prevent fraud.
• Billing data: what you bought and its status. Card details are entered on our reseller’s checkout and never reach our servers.
• Connected accounts: if you connect YouTube, the tokens needed to upload videos you choose to publish.

• To provide the service and your account (contract).
• To bill you and keep accounting records (contract, legal obligation).
• To keep the service secure, stop abuse and enforce our policies (legitimate interests).
• To improve the product from aggregated usage (legitimate interests).
• To send service emails; marketing only with your consent, which you can withdraw.

We share data only with providers that help us run the service:

• Paddle.com — checkout, payment, tax, receipts and refunds (independent controller).
• Cloudflare — content delivery and network security.
• Google — sign-in with Google and YouTube uploads you request.
• Stock media and AI providers — search terms and text needed to find footage, generate narration or images (including cloud AI model providers that may write scripts and chat replies from your prompts); they do not receive your account details.
• Email delivery providers — for account and billing emails.

Some providers are outside your country; where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data.

We keep account data and content while your account is open, delete it within 30 days after you close the account (backups roll off within a further 30 days), and keep billing records as long as tax law requires. Intermediate render files are cleaned up automatically.

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and you can complain to your data protection authority (in Türkiye, the KVKK Board). Email [email protected]; we answer within 30 days.

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. The checkout provider sets its own cookies when you open the checkout. We do not use advertising cookies.

SceneGen is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
