Terms of Service

SceneGen (https://scenegen.net) is a software service operated by the founder of SceneGen, a sole proprietorship registered in Türkiye (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.

SceneGen is automated video-editing software. From a topic or a script you provide, it writes or uses a script, selects licensed stock footage and images, adds synthetic text-to-speech narration, music, captions and effects, and renders a finished video file. Optional AI-generated illustrations can be used in place of stock images.

SceneGen does not generate the likeness of real, identifiable people, does not clone voices, and does not produce deepfakes. Features and limits depend on your plan and are described on the pricing page.

• You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate account information.
• The Free plan is a trial of two videos in total, limited to one account per person.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe.

Credits are a non-transferable, prepaid licence to use the software’s features — for example generating a script, narration or a render. Each action shows its credit cost before it starts. Credits are not money, have no cash value, are not stored value or e-money, cannot be exchanged, sold, transferred to another account or workspace, or redeemed for cash, and are used only within SceneGen.

Credits bought in a one-off credit pack or granted by a subscription stay on your workspace while your account is open. Credits reversed by a refund or chargeback are removed from the balance.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it sells to you, collects payment, charges any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt, and handles payment-related customer service and returns. Its buyer terms apply to the purchase.

• Prices are shown in US dollars before tax; the checkout shows the final amount including tax.
• Subscriptions renew automatically every month until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

You keep the rights you have in the topics, scripts and media you provide and in the videos you make. You grant us the limited licence needed to process, store and render them for you. Stock footage and music remain subject to their providers’ licences; you may use them as part of your finished videos.

You are responsible for what you create and publish, including making sure you have the rights to any material you upload and that your videos comply with the law and with the rules of platforms you post to.

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We screen prompts automatically, may refuse or remove content that breaks it, and may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service. Where we close an account for a serious breach, unused credits may be forfeited to the extent permitted by law.

We work to keep SceneGen available, but it is provided “as is” and may be interrupted for maintenance or by events outside our control. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the paid service entirely, we will refund unused prepaid credits bought in the previous 12 months.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do so.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. We may update them; material changes are announced on the site or by email before they take effect. Questions: [email protected].
